For patients who are unable to book or make an appointment during normal surgery hours we offer extended opening hours from 6.30PM to 7.00PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. We have a limited capacity of appointments so it is important that if you are able to make an appointment but you cannot attend, you need to let us know as someone else may need that slot and you may not be able to book another one.
These appointments cannot be prebooked and are just for emergencies.
If all the emergency and urgent appointments are not available, and the problem cannot wait, it is up to the doctor to decide if the patient can be seen or not, it is not up to the receptionist (s).
Our nurses and doctors work in well equipped office, minor surgery and recovery rooms, and you can make appointments to see one onf them for health checks, travel vaccincations, child immunisations, ear syringing and ECGs.
Nurses will also provide advice general health, dieting, diabetic control and family planning.
You may also see a nurse for routine blood pressure checks.
